Joseph Walker

  • Head of performance physical therapy and rehabilitation in San-Diego EXOS office;
  • Over ten years in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation and performance physical therapy;
  • Master of Physical Therapy and Exercise Therapy fromCalifornia State Long Beach University(2007);
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, major in biology from Loyola Marymount University (2001)
  • Certified ASTYM expert (reinforced soft tissue mobilization),  an evidence-based approach to working with chronic dysfunctions of tendons, scar tissues and fibroses
  • Certified SFMA expert (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), is able to perform overall assessment of movement patterns and recommend manual and therapeutic interventions as well as exercise programs.
  • Worked as a rehabilitation specialist with various patients, including some of the elite athletes;
  • Cooperated with National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, National Basketball Association, Surfing Professional Association, Golf Professional Association,Volleyball Professional Association, Dew Tour and X-Games.
  • Worked with participants of summer and winter Olympic games with amazing results
  • Cooperates with elite US military forces, skillfully incorporates manual and functional interventions for best results.
  • Has been working with EXOS since spring 2013.
